3. Why can't I access the AQEM e-Learning Sample Course or my subscription course from my office computer but I can access them from my home computer?
The firewall that some companies use to control which web sites their employees use does not allow communication with the AQEM e-Learning subscription training sessions.
Your office or company IT person may be able to (a) establish the AQEM e-Learning session as a "Trusted Site" and there-by allow access, (b) provide a computer that has Internet access but is not linked to your company's network and firewall, or (c) place the AQEM e-Learning course on your company's intranet system (requires Enterprise license from AQEM).
If this is an issue that prevents you from taking an AQEM e-Learning course please contact AQEM.

4. Exactly what is the Enterprise Corporate-wide program?
Many companies have multiple facilities or manufacturing plants. Some have facilities located in one general location or country while others have global locations in many countries. Some organizations have national or global membership.
Specific personnel or members at various locations often need the same training. Common methodology and training leads to improved consistency and quality, improved communications, and best overall practices. The AQEM Enterprise Corporate-wide program provides a very cost-effective process for delivery of the exact need-to-know training to all appropriate personnel throughout an enterprise regardless of their location.
Importantly, the larger the group of persons who are subscribed to the AQEM e-Learning program under one company or organization subscription the less the cost is for the training on a per person basis.
The use of AQEM e-Learning programs may be the most cost-effective process for providing a common methodology, process, best practice, or technique to a large or disperse work force.

7. Does the AQEM e-Learning platform integrate with our company’s current Learning Management System?
There are a number of Learning Management Systems (LMS). The AQEM data within each course is XML based and could be readily transferred to an alternate LMS.
AQEM e-Learning programs have been designed to provide a process for delivering the information, training, improvement recommendations, and learning experience needed for the specific topic, and to provide appropriate employee training records, at the most reasonable cost to the customers.
Although the AQEM e-Learning platform does not currently meet SCORM requirements, it will likely be less expensive for a company to participate in the AQEM enterprise corporate-wide program than to either transfer the AQEM e-Learning programs to another LMS or to bear the cost of developing similar topic trainng programs for inclusion in an existing LMS.
If your company has not invested in an LMS, you may want to consider the AQEM e-Learning platform as your choice for a low-cost and enterprise-wide training program development, delivery and record keeping system.

8. Can our company transfer our current training programs to the AQEM e-Learning platform?
Yes. All of your current training courses can be placed on the AQEM e-Learning platform. The AQEM e-Learning platform can be customized for any company.
Importantly, only personnel from your organization with the appropriate login and password will have access to your specific training courses. This process minimizes your need for dedicated servers, computer administration, added databases, etc.
All of your programs remain available specifically for your organization via the Internet. Or, if your organization does not allow employees to have Internet access, the AQEM e-Learning platform and training courses can be placed on your server for administration by your IT personnel.

9. If my subscription expires before I finish the course can I extend the subscription time?
Yes, although there may be an additional fee.
For comprehensive multi-week courses that parallel a company’s specific program development, such as with an ISO 14001 EMS, or the launch of a wastewater treatment system, the subscription extension for each course participant may be established when the original subscription is initiated.
Each AQEM e-Learning course is evaluated to determine the maximum amount of time necessary to take the course by persons who have no familiarity with the course material and who will need to thoroughly study each concept, method or technique that is suggested. Additional time is then included in the established subscription time for possible retake of some or all of the course material.
Course subscriptions are licensed for one person per enrollment, similar to a university or vocational school training course.
